ZBrush NPR Render

I didn’t realize how easy it was to use the NPR filters in ZBrush until recently (whoops). I know this is probably in the instruction manual somewhere (actually it is and there is more to it of course, you can tweak settings and make your own filters).

Basic quick start with these things I went to the render settings and pressed Lightbox>RenderSet

lightbox render set

This brought up available render styles in the lightbox.

I changed the document background colour to white and removed the background gradient.

Then I tested some render styles by double clicking on them and pressing the BPR (Best Preview Render) button.

Thanks for reading.
