I made a 2D video mascot
This is one of the art projects I’ve been working on in the last few weeks. I decided to try a little program I found on Itch.io called Honk which lets you use your microphone to lip sync 2D characters. The purpose being to use as a talking video avatar with OBS (or your preferred screen recording software).
I gave one of my development tests another go yesterday but I decided to work on it some more after doing that.
I’ve recorded the process of making this little character so I will be writing another article about that in a future post and editing the video clips. I used Krita, Laigter, Honk, OBS and Affinity Photo for this project.
