Artistic Effects with G’MIC Artistic Stylize
After getting a little bit obsessed with G’MIC last week I gradually discovered how versitile the G'MIC in Krita Artistic Stylization filter was. I also liked the various etching filters.
In the past I have looked at Photoshop actions to create different effects on images. I don’t use Photoshop anymore, so it is nice to still be able to experiment within Krita.
My particular interest in this is to create textures for underpainting and overlays to use for my Illustrations as part of a larger process, not as an end result in itself, but I also figured out how to make a stippling effect using a hand drawn stippling texture I made with a fineliner and scanned in.
