Using Normal Maps For Illustration

Normal maps are mainly used for adding detail to low resolution 3D meshes for real time rendering or for adding dynamic lighting to 2D game sprites.

I made a quick video showing the process of how you could create normal maps for 2D graphics and use them with the Phong Bumpmap filter in Krita.
