Hi there, I wanted to let you know that I’ve started a weekly sketchbook which you can see on my Mastodon account. I’ll be picking a different topic / subject matter every week and trying to post at least one picture a day.
I’m trying different styles and brushes in Clip Studio Paint at the moment, I thought it would be a good way to get reacquainted with the software and have fun at the same time.
This weeks theme is “rabbits and hares”. You can join in if you like or just pick your own thing to draw or paint every week and do that.
Having something to motivate you to keep practicing art is essential, it never hurts to keep the skills sharp and try different things.
I’ve made a version of my Natural Drawing and Painting Media Brushes available for Clip Studio Paint organized into folders containing the individual brush presets. I have a basic set and a bigger set on my Gumroad shop.
The original Photoshop brush sets which are also available in my Gumroad shop work in the latest version of Clip Studio Paint, but some settings for several of the brushes had to be tweaked to get them to work as intended. If you want to tweak the Photoshop brushes yourself I wrote a dev diary entry on how to do that here.
